Purpose

This website was created for the purpose of allowing people to come together to discover and consistently document the details of artists' music.

Goals

I want this website to create a centralized location where people can submit information about different music albums and artists, and to create a community of people who will research and document their findings on these topics.

Audience

This website is obviously aimed towards music enjoyers, but more specifically it centers around vaporwave and other loosely related genres. The website is open to any album submissions, but the general look and style of the website should point towards vaporwave related genres of music.

Opportunity

This website is addressing a potential opportunity to bring more obscure music artists into the light, while also giving a clear and standardized description of their work. This will hopefully allow people to more accurately find music they would enjoy, but it will also allow the artists' details that they put into their work to be more fully realized.

Content

This website should include general descriptions of albums, including the album's title and cover art, an analysis of each song (instruments/samples used, length, flow etc.), artist biographies, interview transcripts, links to the album's purchase or playback page, and embedded Spotify playback for the song. There is also a section where users can comment on an album's analysis, or suggest changes/updates to the website.
